Buddy Schulz keeps incredibly busy at his custom shop, South Central Choppers, in Washington, Texas, building up to eight full customs every year. He typically hits some local events to showcase his bikes, but makes sure he hits Sturgis every year.
Buddy started off racing drag boats and has always been into “anything that goes fast.” Motorcycles have always been a passion, and because of his experience with drag boats, he has always looked for ways to make his motorcycles go faster. In 2003 he decided to put his boat racing aside and concentrate on building fast, custom motorcycles that can be ridden really hard. He utilizes his knowledge of metal fabrication to build custom gas tanks, oil tanks, and fenders. He also puts a lot of additional metal work into the frames to get the really clean lines he looks for in all the bikes that leave his garage. are happy and can go faster safely” Said Buddy.
South Central Choppers will be set up at Thunder Road in Sturgis this year, so stop by and say Hi to Buddy and Kim or visit them online at southcentralchoppers.com .
